Job Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at weDevs, you’ll be part of our Engineering team, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our SaaS products and WordPress plugins used by thousands worldwide. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, monitoring performance, and collaborating with developers to deliver smooth deployments.

This role blends hands-on infrastructure management with automation and optimization — making sure our products run seamlessly and efficiently. You’ll design and maintain cloud systems, manage deployments, troubleshoot issues, and build monitoring tools that ensure peak performance.

Requirements

• Linux system administration with 3+ years of experience. (Debian/CentOS/RHEL)
• Ability to write Bash scripts.
• Experienced in at least one backend language. (Go/PHP/Python)
• Automatic infrastructure deployment with Terraform.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes with Helm.
• Proficient in Kubernetes ingress solutions such as Nginx Ingress Controller, Traefik, and Emissary-Ingress.
• Experienced with GitOps practices and tools, including ArgoCD and FluxCD.
• Experience in configuration management. (Ansible/Chef/Puppet)
• Deploying CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Experienced in AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean.
• Having AWS certification is a plus.
• Logging/Monitoring tools and applications. (Grafana stack, Prometheus, Sentry)
• Experience in Nginx & Caddy web server.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Ansible.
• Provision, manage, and monitor both containerized environments and VPS servers.
• Deploy, operate, and scale highly available, traffic-heavy applications.
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes clusters to ensure reliability and performance.
• Own the security of cloud systems, networks, and development environments.
• Implement and maintain internal tooling for logging, alerting, and monitoring with minimal overhead to maximize developer velocity.
• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across the engineering department.
• Advise and collaborate with the engineering team on infrastructure improvements and best practices.

Educational Requirements

It doesn’t matter where you went to college or what your CGPA was as long as you are smart, passionate, ready to work hard, and have fun.

Workplace & Hours

• Location: weDevs HQ ( Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka )
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM (BST)

Compensation

• Salary Range: BDT 1,00,000 – 1,50,000 (Based on experience and skills)
• Salary Review: Annually
