Leave Conventions

Conventions of taking leave
(Excluding Support Team)

These rules are applicable for all leaves except sick leaves:

  • To apply for a 1-day leave, you have to apply 2 days earlier. If the application is approved by the Team leader and next from HR, then your leave will be granted otherwise not.  
  • If you need to leave for more than one day, you have to apply 7 days earlier. If the application is approved by your Team leader and HR, then your leave will be granted otherwise not.  
  • Emergencies can occur anytime. So If you need an emergency leave, then you have to contact the in-charged person on that day.
    He/she will justify your reason for your leave. If he/she decides that you can get the leave then you will be given permission to take an emergency leave.
    But if the in-charged person does not grant the leave, then it will be counted as an unauthorized leave.  
  • For all unauthorized leave (unpaid leave), the salary will be cut off by 1 day of the full salary
  • If you need an Annual leave, you have to apply 3 months earlier. If the application is approved by the team leader/ supervisor, then your leave will be granted otherwise not.  
  • Medical emergencies can not be avoided and it is unfortunate. So If you are on medical leave for more than 2 days, then you have to inform us by submitting medical documents. Otherwise, these leaves will be counted as unauthorized leave. 
  • Last but not least, After any official vacation, you cannot take leave on the starting day. If an emergency occurs, you need to attend the first day and then apply for the leave as well.

Support Team Leave Convention

Our customer is our TOP priority. That’s why Support is an extremely important aspect of our business. Now, we are providing 24/7 support for our customers.
If you are a part of the support team, we really rely on you for our customers’ happiness. And that is the only reason, the conventions of taking leave are different from general. 

These rules are applicable for all leaves except medical leaves:

  • Support Team will enjoy one Eid vacation and on which Eid he/she will get the vacation will be determined by the team lead.
  • To apply for a 1-day leave, you have to apply 3 days earlier. If the application is approved by the team leader and HR, then your leave will be granted otherwise not.  
  • To apply for more than 1-day leave, you have to apply 10 days earlier. If the application is approved by his/her supervisor, then the employee’s leave will be granted otherwise not.  
  • If you need emergency leave, then you have to contact the in-charged person on that day. If in charged person does not grant the leave, then it will be counted as unauthorized leave.
