Responsibilities

There are 3 types of responsibilities that every Devs need to do.

  1. Regular Responsibilities: Your day to day work that needs to be done on a regular basis.
  2. On-Demand Responsibilities: Tasks that require urgent and quick attention and needs to be done on the fly.
  3. Significant Responsibilities: These are the works that you must complete carefully because they are important and carries much value that other ones.
Business Development Executive [Lv1 & Lv2]

Regular

  1. Identify opportunities in the market by consuming industry publications
  2. Keep an up to date record of key industry decision-makers in our target customers.
  3. Support and manage Sales and Marketing activities.
  4. Think strategically, seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business model of the company.
  5. Proactively deliver insights on key customers and trends using external data sources.
  6. Develop a bank of industry, customer and L&D insights and statistics to be called upon for proposals and client pitches.

On-Demand

  1. Building New Partnerships
  2. Affiliate Marketing

Significant

  1. Deliver competitive analysis on a weekly basis.
  2. Analyze existing economic, demographic, market and environmental variables to identify areas for expansion.
  3. Develop the company’s strategy, short, mid and long term ones, evaluate, monitor and compare with other competitors in the market.
Business Development Strategist [Lv1, 2]

Regular

  1. Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met
  2. Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned
  3. Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning
  4. Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors

On-Demand

  1. Developing business strategies based on creative/channel best practices and business needs.
  2. Building New Partnerships
  3. Affiliate Marketing

Significant

  1. Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
  2. Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.
Business Development Manager & VP

Regular Responsibilities 

  1. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  2. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  3. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  4. Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  5. Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  6. Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
  7. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  8. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  9. Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople

  5. Collect, monitor and analyze social and website metrics, and make improvements accordingly.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the business strategy as needed.
  7. Collaborate with brand, product and sales managers to create promotional concepts.
  8. Manage the distribution of content across all channels.
Business Development Director (Head of Department)

Regular Responsibilities

  1. Plan, Assign, Help & manage tasks of the team.
  2. Prepare and plan a business strategy.
  3. Collaborate with marketing development and content VP.

On-Demand Responsibilities

  1. Influence strategic decisions to improve the overall sales experience.
  2. Present clear ideas and concepts to stakeholders and advocate for business strategy.
  3. Work with cross-functional partners to develop business strategies that address the needs of our users and meet our business goals.
  4. Bring the brand to life through business development.
