Only Full-time employees will be eligible for gratuity.
If your permanent employment aged above 4 years in weDevs, you will be entitled to Gratuity rights.
You will receive the equivalent gratuity in your office year and will be given 50% of your gross salary.
Example: 50% of the current salary* of an employee (=< 4 years working year) is ‘S’ and his/her working year is ‘Y’. Then he/she will receive (S * Y) = amount of gratuity.
In the case of involuntary separation or quitting your job, next join the job again, then your working year will be deemed to be the date you enrolled for the weDevs Provident Fund again.
If you are a Part-time/contractual employee then you will not be entitled to Gratuity, regardless of the working year.
Your trainee or intern time will not be counted as your working year.
In case, if any Part-time or contractual employees start working as a full-time employees, his/her part-time or contractual time will not be counted as his/her working year.
